C\u00f4te d’Ivoire is the world’s largest cocoa producer, accounting for 40% of global cocoa production. In 2025, the country produced 2.2 million tons of cocoa beans, generating approximately 4.4 million tons of cocoa husk waste (cocoa pods represent about 80% of fresh pod weight).<\/p>
